Vedett Extra White
Early September 2008, Vedett Extra White was launched on the Japanese market. For those who are not familiar with the brand (helloo?), Vedett Extra White is a totally new white beer launched by Belgian brewery Moortgat, also famous for its great “Duvel” (we hope this rings the bell!).
To support the Japanese launch in September 08, we were asked to make a promotion video for this trendy beer with its unique concept: to become a Vedett! “Vedett” means “Star” and refers to the witty fact that customers have the chance to have photos of themselves on the labels of the bottles which are then sold on the market. In Belgium it seems you become a star when your face is on more than 10,000 bottles. Should be the same in Japan…
In the meantime -yes promotion never dies!-, we have made a campaign webpage (2008), developed the Japanese version of the official flashy Vedett site (www.vedett.jp) and in June & July 2009 we are crashing 54 bars in Tokyo selling Vedett White. "Vedett Comes to You" with the greatest Vedett campaign team ever. By now we know where to have the best Vedett on draught in Tokyo! Cheers banzai samurai!
