old Embassy
After fifty years of great service in Tokyo, the Belgian embassy facilities in Tokyo had to be rebuilt. Since 1960, the "old" embassy has been the venue for a lot of great events and many visitors still carry great souvenirs. Half a century of Belgian history in Tokyo cannot be easily forgotten and therefore the Belgian Ambassador to Japan asked trainspot to develop a unique concept to mark this happening.
This total creative concept has been labeled "old Embassy" (very logic indeed). From 30 October till 3 November 2007 the old premises hosted Belgium at its most creative: interior design, fashion, film, music and art. Again trainspot has been in charge of the entire concept, going from strategic planning, image development, program, communication, promotion, media relations, financial management, etc....
